Thanksgiving Food Drive

We encourage you to take part in our Thanksgiving Food Drive. You may bring in canned goods and non-perishable Thanksgiving items and place them in the bin just outside the main entrance. This food drive allows us to provide a delicious meal for those in need, and it often yields great opportunities to share the Gospel.

Young at Heart Thanksgiving Luncheon

This Saturday, November 16
For those in our church who are 50 years of age or better, we invite you to join us this Saturday for the Young at Heart Thanksgiving Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at Morrison’s Cafeteria just off of I-65 and Airport Blvd. We will get started with our meal at noon, and if you need transportation, a bus will be leaving from the church at 11:30 a.m. There is no cost to attend, so you will only need to be prepared to pay for your meal. If you have not yet signed up, please do so at the Welcome Center today!

Old Fashioned Revival Sunday

Next Sunday, November 17
Be sure to join us next week for Old Fashioned Revival Sunday. Evangelist John Hamblin will be our guest speaker in both services that day. In addition to the exciting services, we will also hold the annual Chili and Cornbread Cook-off! After the morning service, everyone is invited to stay for lunch and enjoy some world-class chili! Even if you choose not to submit your dish for judging, please bring some chili or cornbread to share in this potluck style meal. Please note that we will move our evening service up to 1:30 p.m. next Sunday. So, after we enjoy a delicious lunch, we will head back into the auditorium for an early service to close out Old Fashioned Revival Sunday.

Pie and Praise Service

Wednesday, November 27
We are urged in the Book of Psalms to “give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good…” Join us on Wednesday evening, November 27 as together, we will do just that. We will hold our Pie and Praise service at the regular service time of 7 p.m. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to be together as we will all gather in the Fellowship Hall for an evening of delicious pie and uplifting praise to God for His many blessings.
