Back to Sunday School!!
Wednesday, June 10
We will begin our Sunday Schools once again, though they will be on Wednesday nights. The teens will be meeting in our teen room at 7 pm. All of the same protocols followed by our church will be followed in the teen room (sanitizing, social distancing, etc)

Deep South Youth Conference
Friday, June 12
The Deep South Youth Conference has been cancelled, but Faith Baptist in Gulfport is still having a Friday night youth rally on June 12. Bro Abdel Judah is preaching, and he has always connected very well with our teenagers. There will be NO COST to attend this rally. It will begin at 6 pm, so we will leave the church around 4:30 pm. We will be taking two busses to ensure that there is proper distance kept between each person. I do ask that each teenager wear a mask while on the bus. At the rally, students will be seated a proper distance from each other. Faith will be providing food afterwards, so there will be no stopping for fast food. We should be returning around 10 pm. Please dress up for the rally.

Trip to OWA
Saturday, June 20
We will be taking a trip to the OWA amusement park. We will leave the church at 1 pm. We will, once again, be adhering to safety protocols on the bus and at the park. Teens will need to wear masks while on the bus. We will also have hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes available. Our cost to get into the park is $20.00. We are leaving at one to give teens a chance to eat lunch at home, and we will return home around 7 pm. This way teens don’t have to buy food if they choose not to.

The Challenge
Friday, June 26
We will have a virtual youth rally. Gospel Light Baptist Church in New Mexico will be putting on this virtual youth rally, and we get to be a part of it. We will have our own activity from 2 pm – 4 pm. We will have some food from 4 pm – 5 pm. The virtual rally then will begin at 5 pm. Bro Sammy Roberson and Bro Randy Dignan will be preaching. There will be NO COST for this activity. Each teen should have their Bible and be ready to go.

6-8        Vacation Bible School
20-24   Gulf Coast Baptist Camp

Vacation Bible School
Monday – Wednesday, July 6 – 8
This is the week of Vacation Bible School. I challenge you to allow your teens to get as involved as they can. This allows them to learn to serve others and allow them to have an impact for Christ’s kingdom even as a teenager. We would love for you as a parent to get involved as well. There will be many places to serve each evening.

Gulf Coast Baptist Camp
Monday – Friday, July 20 – 24
This is the most important week in your teenager’s life. The greatest decisions that teens have made have come at camp in a lot of cases. Bro Kurt Copeland will be preaching. Not only do our teens enjoy hearing him preach, but he is always very practical and impactful. The cost for camp is $100. I will be getting more information out to you as we get closer to that date.

The teen years can be confusing, difficult, and challenging. But they can also be awesome!

Through Sunday classes, weekly outreach, monthly activities, annual trips, retreats, and programs, the teens at LBC are challenged and equipped to live for Christ while they are in their youth. Each year, the teens can look forward to camps, trips, outreach events, fun activities, and many opportunities to grow in God’s Word. We do everything within our power to provide the Bible-based wisdom that teens need, combined with the friendly atmosphere that teens enjoy!
